In May, 2020, it was reported that start-up Heliogen, Bill Gates Founder and CEO, used artifical intelligence and an array of mirrors to concentrate the energy of the sun… and achieve a temperature over 1,000 DegC. With more development, this may mean that glass, cement and steel can be produced without burning fossil fuel. Bravo to Heliogen !
