Leah Stokes, in the Political Science Department at UC Santa Barbara, published a great article in the Atlantic on August 23rd. “How do we plan for the Future in California? …. the states heat waves, blackouts, and fires – amid a pandemic – offer a warning for our fossil fuel future”. All readers are encouraged to read this article. On this website, the near future related to global warming is clearly described. Over the next ten years, electric-battery vehicles will become the overwhelming majority of new vehicles sold, and the fossil-fuel automobile and oil-gas industries will shrink significantly. Huge shifts in employment will occur. This cannot be stopped. This is very positive for all Americans, especially our children and grandchildren.
